The US has deported a total of 1,563 Indian citizens since January and the latest batch was sent back last week, the Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) said on Thursday.
Mea spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that most Indians were sent back to commercial flights.
From January 20 to July 16, some 1563 Indian citizens have been deported from the United States, said, most of these Indian citizens have come from commercial flights.
People’s exile occurs only after the Indian nationality is confirmed. US officials provided a list of deportation to the people and the Indian side again confirms their nationality, he said.
“People are coming into batches on commercial flights. Even last week, we had people who came back,” Jaswal said.

Earlier this year, three American military flights had a dispute with the exile of more than 300 Indians as women and children were also handcuffed.
