Police said that about nine road construction workers are feared to flow after a cloudburst with the Yamunotry National Highway in Uttarkashi district in the early hours of Sunday.
The disaster control room here said that the workers went missing near Silai Bend in the BarcoT area near Silai Bend in heavy rains and Claudbst Barcot area, stated in the disaster control room here.
Barcot police station show Deepak alleged that information about a cloudburst on the Yamunotry highway was received around midnight.
A team participated on the spot and found that the workers engaged in road construction work lived there with tents. They are afraid of heavy rains.

So far, eight to nine people are reported missing. They are all of Nepali origin, they said, a search is going on.
The highway has been closed at several places including Silai Bend since CloudBust. There is also information about heavy rains that damage agricultural land in Kuthanur village in the district. The road near Ojri has also been completely damaged. Agricultural sectors are filled with debris.
Kupada Kunshala Trouchili Motor Bridge is also in danger in Sianachatti and the water level of Yamuna has also increased after heavy rains.
