The Israeli army on Saturday apologized for posting a map, in which Jammu and Kashmir was incorrectly painted as part of Pakistan after the objections of Indian social media users, clarifying that the image “fails to paint the borders accurately”.

The map was posted by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) on its ex handle on Friday to show the boundary of Iranian missiles. The Post quickly attracted the criticism of social media users in India.

“Now you understand why India is neutral. In diplomacy, no one is really your friend,” a user commented on X.

“Iran is a global threat. Israel is not the ultimate goal, this is only the beginning. We had no other option but to work,” the IDF first posted with the wrong map, justifying the launch of Operation Rising Lion against Iran.

The Israeli Air Force also posted a short video, which featured a similar map, shown the limit of Iranian missiles.

He said that he had already asked to remove/decide the map.

India has constantly stated that Jammu and Kashmir, along with Ladakh, is an integral part of the country.
