ISRO said in a statement that the AXIOM-4 mission, set to take Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla to the international space station, is to be launched on June 19. The AXIOM-4 Mission will ride the Falcon 9 rocket in SpaceX on June 19 from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Sukhanshu Shukla is ready to make history through the Axiom-4 mission due to being the second Indian astronaut to enter space. Shukla will travel to the ISS with the X -4 crew, where the team will conduct several experiments focused on microgravity and living science.
The launch date was announced after an important C0ordination Mieting held between the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Axiom Space and SpaceX.
