A Frankfurt-Hyzdarbad flight by Lufthansa was withdrawn to its original airport on Sunday due to a “threat of a bomb”, the airline has said.
The airline spokesperson said in a statement that passengers were provided with housing in Frankfurt, continuing their journey to Hyderabad on Monday.
Lufthansa spokesperson said in a statement, “With an abundance of caution, the Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Hyderabad returned to the point of its departure after the authorities informed the authorities about the threat of the bomb deployed on social media.”
According to the flight LH 752-Boing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft operated by the Flightradar24.com, instead of its scheduled departure time of 13.05 hours instead of 13.29 hours.
According to the aircraft website, it was to land in Hyderabad in 1.20 hours.
