The BJP condemned the attack on minorities in Bangladesh, condemning Rabindranath Tagore's paternal house on the Atatala roads. Bharat News

Condemnation of attacks on minorities and recent barbarity of Nobel Prize winner Rabindranath Tagore in Bangladesh, BJP held a protest in Agartala on Monday.

The involvement of State BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Rajab Bhattacharjee, and other party leaders such as Sabal Bhomik, Bhagwan Das and Mimi Mazumdar was seen in protest.

The rally started from Swami Vivekananda Maidan and concluded near the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh in Augustla.

Bhattacharyji told reporters, “We condemn the attack on violence against Rabindranath Tagore’s ancestral home and minority communities in Bangladesh. So far, Muhammad Yunus -led interim government has not arrested criminals.”

Similar protest marches were held in other parts of the state, including Kailashar in Unakoti district, Raghana International Border in North Tripura district, Sonamura in Sepahijala district and Belonia in South Tripura district on Saturday.
