Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Monday that since the formation of the NDA government in 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has surpassed his predecessors, as far as the welfare of the Sikh community is concerned.

Puri said in a post on X, “PM @narendramodi ji has not done the amount of work in the last several decades for the welfare of our Sikh community and to promote its magnificent history around the world.”

He also said that the Karatpur Sahib Corridor was opened after more than 70 years and Sikhs living in Jammu and Kashmir were given equal rights.
