On Monday morning, the body of a woman was found in a forest area of Goa with a neck with her neck, police arrested a 22 -year -old man from Bangalore.
Officials said that the two were in a relationship and had allegedly murdered him during a visit to Goa, which suspected that she was involved with another person.
A case of murder was registered at Ponda police station, and an investigation is going on. Police said that a crime site examination was conducted with the help of a forensic science laboratory team, dog squad and technical experts.

According to the police, in front of the murder, the accused left his house in Bangalore and met the victim near Havari in Karnataka, after which he decided to visit Goa. They then boarded a bus from Hubbali.
A police officer said, “He was a schoolmate and in a relationship for many years. Recently, she began to doubt that she was having a relationship with another man. Annoyed on the issue, she planned to kill her in Goa. She stabbed her for this purpose.”
The couple reached Goa and got down from a bus near a forest area in Pilmem in Dharbandora area on Sunday. The police officer said, “The accused lured him into the bushes and cut his throat with a knife. He grabbed his phone and ran away from the spot. Then he praised a taxi to return to Hubbali,” the police officer said. In the initial interrogation, the accused claimed that he wanted to die of suicide after returning to Karnataka.

The Goa police managed to find out a significant piece of evidence from the victim’s purse at the crime site – after recovering a bus ticket. The police then examined the CCTV footage from the bus stand and added the dots. A police team of Ponda Sub-Division caught the accused on Tuesday morning with the help of local police in Hubbali.
South Goa SP Tikam Singh Verma described the case as a “blind murder case” which was resolved within 24 hours.
In a press statement, the police said the accused “admitted to give an argument with him during a visit to Goa”.
The police statement said that after finishing the bus in Pilmim, he killed him with a knife and killed him.
