PM Modi Yoga Day Visakhapatnam: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leading ceremony on International Yoga Day from Visakhapatnam, yoga “The direction of peace in a world that was going through stress, disturbance and instability.”

“Unfortunately, today, the whole world is going through some stress and unrest. Volatility is increasing in many regions. At such a time, yoga gives us the direction of peace. Yoga is a break button that humanity needs to breathe, balance and be fulfilled,” the Prime Minister said on Saturday.

PM Modi said that yoga takes one on a journey towards unity with the world. “I feel proud when I see that our Divyang friends study yoga scriptures in Braille. Scientists practice yoga in space. Young friends participate in Yoga Olympiads in villages. An excellent yoga program is being done on all these naval ships. Capacity.”

Recalling the journey of the day at the international level, the Prime Minister said: “In the last decade, when I see the journey of yoga, it reminds me of many things. The day India laid a resolve in UNGA – to recognize June 21 as International Yoga Day – and 175 countries of the world have unity and support today.”

This year’s theme for International Yoga Day is ‘Earth, Ek Health’ for Yoga. The event is a pioneer in PM Modi Visakhapatnam, being held in a 26 km long corridor, where more than 3 lakh people can do yoga together.
