On April 22, Nia arrested 22 Pahgam residents for involvement in the attack of terrorists. Bharat News

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has allegedly arrested two local residents for harassing the terrorists who carried out the Pahgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April.

“Two people-Identified as Parviz Ahmed Jothar from Bashir Ahmed Jothar of Betakotte, Pahalgam, and Hill Park, Pahgam has revealed the identity of three armed terrorists involved in the attack, and has also confirmed that he is ready for Pakistani National.”

Twenty -six people were killed and 16 others were injured in the attack. On 7 May, India launched Operation Sindoor in vengeance, after killing the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir, after which there were three days of military conflicts between the two countries.

According to the investigation, Parviz and Bashir deliberately harassed three armed terrorists in a seasonal dhok (hut) before the attack, the spokesperson said, “Both people had provided food, shelter and logistics support to the terrorists, which sometimes killed tourists on the basis of their religious identity.

The spokesperson said, “NIA, who arrested the pair under Section 19 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, is investigating the case, registered after the attack which has shaken the world … further investigation in the case is on,” the spokesman said.

Earlier this month, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) – Global Money Laundering and Terror Financing Watchdog condemned the “cruel terrorist attack” in Pahalgam and said that such attacks could not be “a means of transferring money between money and terrorist supporters”.
