A police team is investigating King Raghuvanshi murderedAn Indore man, who was killed on his honeymoon in Meghalaya, has arrested a property dealer from Indore in connection with alleged hidden evidence, and has detained a security guard for questioning.
Along with this, the total number of people arrested in connection with the murder is on six, including his wife Sonam and the man in which he was allegedly in connection with Raj Kushwaha as well as three attackers who allegedly killed in a Sohra in Meghalaya.
Property dealer Silome James was arrested by a police team from Meghalaya on Saturday. The next day, the police detained the apartment’s security guard that Sonam Raghuvanshi allegedly stayed in Indore after a crime.
In addition to the Indore Police Crime Branch, the DCP told reporters in Indore, “A team of Crime Branch is in constant communication with the Meghalaya Police and has been informed that Silom James has been arrested on the basis of evidence.”
James has been allegedly organized to hide objects and evidence for Sonam Raghuvanshi.
Police Vivek Siem, Superintendent of Police of East Khasi Hills, said, “He is a property dealer and lesser of a building in Hira Bagh Colony in Indore, where Sonam kept jewelery and other items carrying with him after the incident.” The security guard was also posted in the same building.
Sonam, Raj Kushwaha, and three alleged attackers arrested earlier this month are in judicial custody in Meghalaya, while the case is currently being investigated by a CIT constituted by the Meghalaya Police.

Raja was assassinated on 23 May with Sonam at Wei Sodong Falls in Sohra. Both were reported to be missing, and a large -scale search operation was started. It turned into an investigation into a murder when the king’s body was found in a gorge on June 2, and on June 7, the case took a turn when Sonam was missing in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh.
