India has dismissed some social media handles as “fake” claims that American fighter jets used Indian airspace to start an attack against Iran.
The US bombed three nuclear sites in Iran, in which President Donald Trump warned of additional attacks on Iran’s counter -protests.
The PIB Fact Czech said in a post on X on Sunday, “Many social media accounts claimed that the Indian airspace was used by the United States so that an airplane could be launched against Iran during the operation #Midnighthammer. This claim is fake.”
“Indian airspace was not used by the United States during the operation #Midnighthammer,” the Fact Czech unit of the Press Information Bureau stated that works under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
It said that the Joint Chief of Staff Chair General Dan Cain explained the route used by American aircraft during a press briefing.
