Preparations are going on for a meeting of Quad Foreign Ministers in the US on 1 July and the Foreign Minister is likely to visit Jaishankar Washington DC, sources have said that The Indian Express,

Sources said that if all go to plan, the meeting of quad foreign ministers will be hosted by US Secretary State Marco Rubio.

Although four quad foreign ministers met at the first multilateral meeting at Washington DC, which Rubio held on January 21-the S-Ascetic President Donald Trump has not been able to focus on the Indo-Pacific Agenda in the last five months after the inauguration of a day earlier.

For India, this will be the first time for the Minister of External Affairs to join the quad partners-the country’s strategic partnership-this year after the India-Pakistan military conflict in four days in May in May.
