Oman-bound vessel catch Major Fire, Ins Taber on Rescue Mission | Bharat News

A casserole-flying oil tanker, Mount Yi Cheng 6, took members of the crew, on 29 June caught a big fire in the engine room and total power failure.

Responding to the crisis call, the Indian Navy’s secret Friget Inse Tabar deployed a rescue mission.

According to the Indian Navy, there were about 14 crew members in India aboard the ship. When he was carrying Kandla, from India to the Economic of Oman, the ship caught fire.

The Indian Navy spokesperson said in a statement on the social media platform ‘X’, “Fire teams and equipment from #Instabar were shifted to the ship by boats and helicopters.”

The spokesperson said, “13 Indian Navy personnel and 05 crew members of the stricken tanker are currently involved in fire fighting operations, with the intensity of the fire to the onboard significantly decreased,” the spokesperson said.
