Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, while addressing the BJP State Working Committee in Patna on Wednesday, accused the RJD and Congress of pushing Bihar in the era of crime, casteism and wrongly marked “dark”.
Singh said, “In Laluji’s Jungle Raj, this land became a laboratory for crime and terror. Once the voice of the constitution was heard, the sound of bullets echoed,” Singh said, “RJD’s lantern, which was about to bring light, set fire to people’s houses instead of illuminating them.”
The Union Minister said, “Bihar is not naturally backward, but was deliberately backward.”
He accused RJD and Congress that they “use power as a tool to serve their families, not people”.
At the time of RJD President Lalu Prasad as the Chief Minister of Bihar, Singh said, “Laluji ruled Bihar for fear, corruption, and strong people … Was it the era where caste had done education and jobs for a heaven, settled for a heaven? Settled in government bungalows.”
The Defense Minister said, “We keep talking about the past so that people are not foolish with the Glib Talk of RJD and Congress. The same mentality, the same corruption that has pushed Bihar in darkness for years, now stands in front of us in a new form,” said the Defense Minister.
Referring to a dispute in Lalu Prasad’s birthday incident, where an RJD worker was Dr. Bribedkar’s picture was seen holding near his feet, Singh said, “It was not a simple mistake, but reflects a mentality in which there is no respect for the Dalit icon.”

Further accusing Lalu of “hypocrisy”, he said, “While Lalu Prasad was in power, he never bothered to do anything in memory of Karpuri Thakur. It was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who honored Bharat Ratna on this great son of Bihar … Only BJP and NDA can actually carry forward the legacy of Karpad.”
Under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar highlighted the achievements of NDA in Bihar, Singh said, “Not only economic development was seen in this period, Bihar also started regaining its lost glory.” He remembered that Bihar was once called “next to India”, but now, “The world is focusing on its turnout story.”
Singh said, “Saying the dream of the opposition to return to power as” fantasy “, Singh said,” The people of Bihar are now awake and are politically aware.
