A week after unknown assailants shot and killed her new husband, Gunja unexpected visitors at her door. It was the police, who came to arrest him to plot to murder her with her uncle, with whom she had a relationship with.
On July 2, 30 -year -old Gunja was arrested for killing Priyanshu Kumar, a 31 -year -old farmer from Barwan in Aurangabad district of Bihar. According to police, she was in a relationship with her ancestral aunt’s husband Jeevan Singh for a few years and was forced to marry Priyanshu.
Suspected Gunja and Singh allegedly hired Hitmen for jobs and booked for murder under BNS. Police said two other people have been arrested in the case, but Singh is currently running.
At the time of murder, Priyanshu and Gunja were married for only 45 days. According to the police, Priyashu Kumar was on the way to meet a cousin in Chanduli district of Uttar Pradesh when he was killed about 1 km from Lambokhap village on 24 June.
He was riding a motorcycle from Nabinagar police station, with two of his friends when the shooting took place. His younger brother Himanshu said, “Around 7:30 pm, unknown assailants fired on the road,” his younger brother Himanshu said, saying that until his arrest, the family was unaware of his participation. “
Priyanshu was immediately rushed to the referral hospital in Nabinagar, but died during treatment. A week later, a special investigation team arrested Gunja, arresting the case, claiming the police that “had an illicit relationship with his uncle”.
Aurangabad SP Ambrish Rahul said, “During the investigation, the SIT found that his uncle had earlier broken Guja’s marriage proposals.” “Finally, his father arranged for his marriage to the deceased. But even after marriage, Gunja and his uncle frequently continued to communicate, causing a mess in his marital life. Gunja and his uncle then decided to kill Priyashu.”

It was Jeevan Singh who allegedly hired Hitman after giving Goja a plan to travel to her husband. Meanwhile, two other suspects in the case – Jaishankar Choubey and Mukesh Sharma – allegedly provided SIM cards to the shooters.
“During interrogation, Gunja confessed for her participation, saying that she was in a relationship with her uncle for fifteen years and was unhappy with her marriage,” she said. “The three accused have been sent to judicial custody, while efforts are underway to arrest Jeevan Jikan Singh and other absconding suspects.”
