The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Saturday accused 2 Pakistan-based terrorists-Hizbul Mujahideen supremo Salay Salahuddin and Bashrat Ahmed Bhat to fund terrorism through drugs from across the border across the border.
The FIR, initially, was lodged in 2022 at the police station Sia, Jammu, lies across a border with Narco-Attankism and Terror Financing Network which included Pakistan-based terrorist organizations and their networks working in Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said the investigation in the case highlighted terrorist colleagues and a well -organized network of courier and supported Hizbul Mujahideen, facilitating drug trafficking and raising funds for terrorist dress, said the officials said. The network has emerged as a major channel for terrorist financing in the region, according to investigation.
Officials said that many of these persons have received significant funds through drug income, despite being negligible sources of income, officials said.

The investigation indicates a major conspiracy, providing the facility of terrorist activities by the Pakistan-Planted Hizab-ul-Mujahideen to destabilize the peaceful atmosphere of Jammu and Kashmir’s Union region. Further investigation is running to identify and catch additional persons involved in the network.
Syed Mohammad Yusuf Shah, head of Pakistan-based terrorist Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, nominated in the charge sheet, is the son of Ghulam Rasool Shah, son of Ghulam Rasool Shah, Bonapora, Soebugh, Budgam district, and son of Bashrat Ahmed Bhat, Gaullam Ahmed Bhat, and Basharat Ahmed Bhat.
