On the issue of withdrawing support from a BJP-led coalition government in Tripura, Tipra Motha, a day after a flip-flop, Chief Minister Manik Saha said on Sunday that he had not received any communication on the matter from the tribal party.
Saha said in Agartla on the occasion of BJP program, “Tipra Motha MLA (Ranjit Debbarma) said on a tripartite agreement … I did not get anything in writing from the party.”
Speaking on the tripartite Tiprsa Accord, the Chief Minister said that he was in regular contact with Tipra Motha’s founder Pridot Kishore Manikya Debarma, and that the process of implementing the agreement continued.
Meanwhile, Pridot Kishore met Governor Indisena Reddy Nallu at Raj Bhavan on Sunday. After the meeting, the founder of Tipra Motha said, “This is a personal journey for the governor. We also met at a program yesterday (Saturday).
