It is not every day that thieves repeatedly target a person. This is also rare when a person is a sitting MLA.
Congress MLA from Dausa, Deen Dayal Bairwa, had stolen his phone at a public event on 11 June, then a motorcycle was stolen from his Dausa residence, and now, a tractor trolley was stolen from his house overnight, he said on Monday.
Former Union Minister and father of Sachin Pilot’s father late Rajesh Pilot was allegedly denied his mobile phone at a prayer meeting in Dausa to mark the anniversary of the 25th death.
talking to The Indian ExpressBerwa said, “It is a big thing that thieves are stealing at an MLA’s house in this way. It raises questions about the police and breaks faith in them. If you are happening with MLA, how can you protect the common man?”
He said that when the motorcycle was stolen, the front camera of his residence was not working, and the second camera could not capture the scene. And last night, the camera was removed to allow construction work. “But even a camera cannot stop them because thieves can simply cover their face,” he said.
He said, “This is unheard of it; I was not stolen with me even before that three-back-to-back stolen. The police should investigate who is behind them,” he said.
Dausa Superintendent of Police Sagar said, “So far, we have not received any complaint for the theft of a tractor-trolley. For mobile phones, they had filed a complaint, and there is a cedar for theft of the bike.”

Berwa said that he spoke to the SP in the morning and was assured of action.
The Congress has cited theft to question law and order in Rajasthan. Opposition leader Tika Ram Jul said, “Even MLAs are not safe … The state of law and order has become so serious.”
He said, “Thieves, dacoits, and mafia are fearless, and the police administration remains silent,” he said, the Home Department comes under CM Bhajan Lal Sharma.
For the first time, MLA, Bairwa was selected from Dausa in a Bapol in November last year. The seat was vacant after Congress MLA Murari Lal Meena seated, which was elected to the Lok Sabha last year.
