In a call to ISRO chief, Shubhanshu Shukla accepted his efforts to ensure his safe journey for ISS India

In a call by V Narayanan, president of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Indian Gaganatri, Indian Gaganti, currently riding as part of the AXIOM-4 mission on the International Space Station (ISS), accepted the team ISRO’s efforts to ensure their safe journey to ISS.

ISRO said that Shukla had called ISRO chief on 6 July afternoon.

During the call, the Speaker expressed his keen interest in Shukla’s good and inquired about various scientific experiments and activities held on ISS.

Space Department Secretary Narayanan emphasized the importance of documenting all experiments and activities after Shukla returns to Earth, as it will provide valuable insight and input for the development of Gaganan, India’s human spacecraft, as it would.

According to ISRO, the Gaganan program aims to showcase India’s ability to launch a crew spacecraft in low Earth’s orbit, and the experience and knowledge gained from this mission will be important for its success. Shubhanshu Shukla’s ISS mission is executed under the Isro-Axiom Spaceflight Agreement.

Many senior officials of ISRO participated in this discussion, in which Dr. Anikrishnan Nair, Director of Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) and Chairman of Program Management Council, included the President of the Human Space Program; M Mohan, Director of Liquid Propulsion Systems Center (LPSC); Padmakumar ES, Director of ISRO Inrtial Systems Unit (IISU); M Ganesh Pillai, Scientific Secretary of ISRO; And N. Vedachalam, former director of LPSC.

Shukla also shared updates on the progress of experiments and activities being conducted at the space station, in which scientific objectives and challenges are being addressed. PTI
