Bharat bandh protest today live news: A union of 10 Central Trade Unions and Associates, including 25 crore workers, today (July 9) called for a general strike to oppose the “anti-activist, anti-formor and anti-national pro-corporate policies” of the Central Government. More than 25 crore workers in areas like banking, insurance, postal and construction are on a nationwide strike today, which is shutting down many services today. The man came into force in the early hours of July 9, and will continue throughout the day.
Which sector/will not be affected today? Closed banking and postage services called by several areas, state transport services, public sector units (PSUs), government departments, coal mining and factories will affect. Schools, colleges and private sector enterprises, however, will be open. All emergency services such as hospitals, police stations and fire fighting departments are ready to remain open. Disruption in public transport services may appear, however, CAB and metro services are expected to run normally. There may be traffic disruption on busy routes.

Why is it closing? The Consortium has alleged that the government has not held annual labor conference in the last 10 years. It said that it presented a 17 -digit charter to Union Labor Minister Mansukh Mandavia last year, stating his demands, but is taking action against the interests of the central workers and in favor of the employers.
