Bharat Bandar on July 9: Will the bank be open or closed?

There is no scheduled or declared bank holiday on 9 July, and no official notification has been issued to closes the nationwide of schools, universities or offices.

However, according to a PTI report, an organization of bank employees has stated that the people working in the industry will join the Bharat Bandh to oppose the shared demands, and as expected to oppose the workforce, bank services will be disrupted, even if they are nominal open.

However, there has been no separate official confirmation of closing banks in India.

However, the public is encouraged to plan prematurely as traffic hindrances, protest marches, and commuts on blocked roads may have an impact, especially in places with a large concentration of union activity.
