Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed his condolences on the loss of life in the fall of Vadodara bridge. The Prime Minister also announced a pre-Rs 2 lakh pre-Rs.
In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, PM Modi said, “Loss of life due to the collapse of a bridge in Vadodara district, Gujarat is deeply unhappy. There is condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. May injured may soon recover.”
He said, “East-graitia of Rs 2 lakh from PMNRF will be given to the next one of each deceased. The injured will be given Rs 50,000,” he said.
At least eight people were killed and many others were injured after several vehicles fell into the river after a part of a four -decade -old bridge in Vadodara, Gujarat on Wednesday morning.
