Newborn baby BJP minister Kishore Burman gets Panchayat, Higher Education and GA (political) portfolio

More than a week after taking oath as a cabinet minister, Tripura BJP MLA Kishore Burman was allotted three portfolio – Panchayat, Higher Education and General Administration (Political) on Friday.

In a notification signed by Chief Secretary Jitendra Kumar Sinha, it was said that the three departments with Chief Minister Manik Saha were handed over to Barman.

After the official distribution of portfolio distribution, Burman told the media, “I have got the scope to work for the development and development of people living in gram panchayats. I like to work with people and for their development.”

Governor Indisena Reddy Nallu administered the oath of office to Burman at the court hall of Darbar Hall in Agartala on 2 July.

Burman won the 2023 assembly elections from the Natchar Assembly Constituency (SC) in Sipahjala district.

He has served as the National General Secretary of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad for three term.

In 2004, a postgraduate, 44 -year -old Burman, Burman, was associated with BJP’s organizational work in North Bengal in 2004 and served in party campaigns in Sikkim, Tripura and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
