Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Tianjin, China next week, to attend a meeting of Foreign Minister’s meeting in a meeting of Foreign Ministers, about two weeks after Defense Minister Rajnath Singh visited the country.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the Foreign Minister of SCO member states and major of permanent bodies of BLOCs “will exchange views on SCO cooperation in various fields and major international and regional issues.”
SCO consists of 10 members: China, Russia, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Belarus.
This will be Jaishankar’s first visit to China since the 2020 military deadlock with the Line of Real Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh, which made bilateral relations severely tense.
Diplomatic engagement
Rajnath Singh was in Kingdao for a meeting of SCO Defense Ministers last month, where he met Chinese Defense Minister General Dong June on 26 June.

During those talks, Singh proposed a “structured roadmap” To reduce stress and rejuvenate the limit demarcation mechanism. He emphasized the importance of “taking action on the ground” to bridge the “Trust Defisit” from the deadlock of 2020 and called for a “good neighbor status” for mutual gains.
