New target of predators: 30 Gharial Hai Chaleings seized MPs, 3 Held | Bharat News

The Forest Department of Madhya Pradesh arrested three operators of an international wildlife trade syndicate and seized two consignments of rare aquatic species including 30 crocodiles Holing at the end of this week.

This is the first tour of a major consignment of a seriously rolled species houses. Sources in the MP Forest Department said that it was led to Bangladesh through Kolkata.

Last evening, a team of MP Special Tiger Strike Force (STSF) intercepted a car on Sabalgarh-Marena Road, bordering the western border of the National Chambal Sanctuary and saved a consignment of 30 Gharial Hatchers and 14 red-colored roof turtles, another critical-experience species.

Three of the car – Vijay and Ramveer were arrested from Gwalior, MP, and Raju from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. Due to his interrogation, Vijay’s Gwalior Niwas was raided this morning and the second consignment of three red-roof turtles and 19 seriously three-edged roofing turtles were rescued.

After the medical examination, all 66 live samples will be released in the Chambal River. A case has been registered under the Wildlife Act and the three accused, who have pre -wildlife crime records, will remain in forest remand for further inquiries.

Celebration offer

The seizure has brought to light the active presence of international poaching syndicates in the National Chambal Sanctuary, the main basis of homes in India. In three states of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, it also bothers several other rare aquatic species in demand in the international market, 425 km of Chambal River.
