External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and his counterparts from SCO member countries met Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday.
In social media posts, Jaishankar said that he informed President Xi about recent development in India-China bilateral relations.
President Xi Jinping was called this morning in Beijing with his fellow SCO Foreign Ministers.

Foreign Minister landed in China on a two -day visit to participate in a conclusion of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on Monday. This is the first visit to China as bilateral relations saw a serious recession in June 2020 after the Galwan Valley clashes.
Jaishankar said on ‘X’, “My fellow SCO called President Xi Jinping this morning in Beijing with Foreign Ministers.”
He said, “President Draupadi expressed the greetings of Murmu and Prime Minister @narendramodi,” he said.
The Foreign Minister said, “President Xi of recent development of our bilateral relations gave importance to the guidance of our leaders in that regard.”
