A parlokik criminal from Buxar, who was undergoing treatment at Paras Hospital in Patna, was shot inside the hospital premises on Thursday morning. Police sources said that the man, Chandan Mishra maintained and maintained the wounds of several guns.
Inspector General Jitendra Rana said, “The infamous criminal Chandan Mishra of Buxar district, who was currently on parole for treatment, was attacked inside the hospital premises. The attackers are suspected of being a member of a rival gang or possibly Mishra to involve a dispute related to a gang.”
He said that doctors “did not declare him dead” so far.
“We are investigating whether the attack stems from intra-gang issues or if rival groups were involved,” they repeated.
Rana said that the security protocol in the hospital, including the horrific of visitors, is being investigated. The IG said, “Any person entering the hospital is subject to magnitude by the management, so the possibility of security personnel colliding with the attackers cannot be ruled out.

Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Karthikeya Sharma said that Mishra was a notorious criminal from Buxar district, in which “dozens of murder cases were registered against him”. “Due to his criminal activities, he was transferred from Booksar Jail to Bhagalpur Jail, and was given parole for medical treatment. During his treatment, it seems that the attackers tracked him and shot him inside the hospital.”
He said, “We have obtained a picture of the shooter’s face and are working on identifying them. We are also trying to identify the rival gang members, to connect the incident with the Chandan-Seru gang of Buxar with initial conclusions,” he said.

Officials said on the basis of preliminary investigation, it was found that several rounds were removed, and the exact number of bullet lesions was being verified.
“CCTV footage is being reviewed. The attackers came on a motorcycle. We are questioning the security staff how the attackers entered and left without stopping. The hospital’s possible participation is also subject to investigation, and we are assessing the overall security arrangements in the hospital,” SSP Sharma said.
