Officials said the Amarnath Yatra resumed on Friday, when the officials said due to heavy rains in Kashmir.
He said that a fresh batch of pilgrims was left from Nanwan and Baltal Base Camp to the holy cave pilgrimage site.
The yatra was suspended on Thursday as heavy rains triggers landslides and shot stones at several places with a treacherous trek.
More than 2.50 lakh pilgrims have paid obedience to the cave pilgrimage site of Amarnath in the South Kashmir Himalayas as the yatra began on 3 July.
The 38-day pilgrimage will end on 9 August.
