Former Judge of Delhi High Court Yashwant Verma, who is currently facing an impeachment motion after discovering the currency notes at his official residence in the national capital, has shifted the Supreme Court, The Indian Express Have you learnt.

The panel found credibility in the allegations against Justice Verma.

The case is likely to be heard next week. Meanwhile, Parliament is also likely to initiate a proposal to remove in the beginning of next week. According to the constitutional provisions dealing with the removal of the investigation of a judge and judges, Parliament will have to set up a new panel to investigate the allegations against Justice Verma.
