PM Modi visit Bihar-Bengal live updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar and West Bengal today and will inaugurate several developmental projects in both states. The Prime Minister is scheduled to launch projects worth Rs 7,200 crore and Rs 5,000 crore in Bihar and West Bengal respectively. He will also address public functions in both states on Friday. According to his official program, PM Modi is ready to visit Motihari in Bihar and Durgpur in West Bengal.
Many projects to be launched: In social media posts, PM Modi said that today the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 7,200 crore will be laid in Bihar. These works cover software technology parks, four new Amrit Bharat trains, road projects and more. In Durgpur in West Bengal, PM Modi will lay the foundation stones for various tasks and will also inaugurate projects worth more than Rs 5,000 crore. Projects cover areas such as oil and gas, electricity, railways and roads.

National railway projects are to be inaugurated: During his visit, PM Modi will also dedicate several railway projects to the nation to improve connectivity. This includes doubling of Darbhanga-Thalwara and Samastipur-Rambadrapur railway lines, automatic signaling on the Samastipur-Bahwara line and Bhatni-Chhapra Gramin Line, as well as doubled, increase in efficiency and re-growing of Darbhanga-Narkatganj line.
