A video clip of the son of Jharkhand Health Minister Irfan Ansari asked people if there was any problem in a hospital in Ranchi, went viral on social media, instigated a political dispute and motivated Ansari to claim that his son’s “purely human” act was being diverted to political gains.
The video, posted on the Instagram handle of Krishi Ansari, son of Irfan Ansari, has been seen inspecting the hospital rooms with his friends. He can be heard asking, “Koi taqleef hai aapko? Agar is (Is anyone facing any issue? If yes, please share the details). ,
The video, which was posted with background music, also showed one of Kirsh’s friends saying, “Koi taklef hai hai jatayay, minister’s son Aa Hue Hen, Bed Bet (If there is an issue, please speak. The minister’s son is here, the elder son). ,
The video created a controversy, in which opposition parties in the state questioned the authority of the minister’s son to conduct such inspections in hospitals.
BJP spokesperson Ajay Sah said that instead of focusing on health infrastructure, the son of the health minister of Jharkhand was more concerned about shooting a reel.

“Will we now believe that the children of health ministers will conduct the inspection of the hospital? Will the children of finance ministers start reviewing the government files? Will the children of home ministers start registering an FIR at police stations?” He asked.
Sah said that instead of reprimanding his son or showing him the right path, the minister has chosen to justify the incident, and it is reportedly shown that his son worked with full approval of the minister.

“For the Congress party, it appears that Irfan Ansari is running on the footsteps of Rahul Gandhi, working to settle his entire family in politics from the initial phase,” Sah said.
Minister Ansari issued a detailed statement, in which his son was defended and the allegations against him were called “baseless, misleading and politically motivated”.
The minister said, “Understand the truth. My son, Krrish is being wrongly dragged,” claiming that Krishi did not visit the hospital for official inspection or political visibility.
“He went to see his teacher, Aditya Kumar Jha’s ailing father, who is admitted to RIMS (Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi). Around the same time, some tribal families contacted us at our residence, upset about the treatment of their relatives in the hospital.

During the visit, Ansari said that Krishna also helped a relative of a senior journalist hospitalized. The minister said, “He worked purely on humanitarian grounds. The way this incident is now being made in accordance with a political story is very unfortunate and worrying.”
Saying Krish “an educated and sensitive young student currently on leave”, the minister said that the public service runs in the family. Ansari said, “He is the grandson of former MP Furkan Ansari, who contributed to the movement of the state of Jharkhand. It should not surprise anyone that he would naturally be willing to help others,” Ansari said.
“Krish keeps asking me, ‘Papa, is it a crime to help people?” This question breaks me from within.
He appealed for sensitivity in public discourse and urged people to “remove the lens of politics” while assessing the situation. “This is an insult to the sympathy of a young person. If we start provoking every hand taken in help, then in which direction are we taking our society?”

Despite the controversy, Ansari said that Krish remains unknown. “He can break the heart, but his resolve to serve others is strong,” he said.
