The Central Government on Monday informed the Supreme Court that a committee established a committee to review the certificate given by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for the film Udaipur files: Kanhaiya Lal Tailor Murder recommended some changes in the film, including a new disruption.
Along with ordering the Center on a record, Justice Surya Kant and Joymlya Bagchi bench postponed the hearing on the petitions for the film’s release by July 24, and directed that it would continue until the release would continue.
After deliberations and detailed discussions, the committee recommended that the filmmaker “replace with the recommended disclaimer provided to the current disclaimer” and include a voice-over for disclaimer; Remove the frame in credits that thank various persons; On the poster, change all examples called “Nutan Sharma”, with a new name; Also directed to remove some dialogues.
The Delhi High Court released on the release of the film until the Center’s Committee called the matter, and after a writ petition by an accused, who said that the release of the film would endanger its rights for free testing.
Convizing the bench about the order of the committee established by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that whatever has been done will violate freedom of speech and right to expression under Article 19 (1) (A) of the Constitution. He said, “This is my personal opinion, has gone through the order.”

Hearing the case on 14 July, Top court decided to wait By July 21, by the time it was expected that the committee would take a decision.
Present for the petitioner, senior advocate Maneka Guruswami said, “I am challenging the order (of the committee).”

Justice Surya Kant told senior advocate Gaurav Bhatia, who presented that the committee ordered six changes that they would have to make those changes anyway “until you challenge that order and your petition is not accepted.”
