Officials said that a 22 -year -old man was arrested on Monday after a brief encounter after snatching a policeman’s service revolver by snatching a service revolver on an old enmity. Six others were also arrested.
The prominent accused, identified as Anas Khan, put a gunshot on his leg after setting fire from the police to prevent him from escaping. The victim, known as Wikin Nayak alias Vicky, was stabbed in the Jamdoli area at around 9:30 pm on Sunday night, causing panic and outrage in the area.
According to officials, Khan and his colleagues faced Vipin, with whom he had a long fight with a long -term quarrel near the later house in the Paldi Meena region.
As a hot argument between the two, Khan stabbed Vipin on the chest several times before fleeing from the spot. Vipin’s sister, who saw her brother stabbing, came out after hearing her screams. Vipin was immediately rushed to SMS Hospital, but he succumbed due to his injuries during treatment.
Sources said that the postmortem could not be operated as the family members did not agree.

Soon after the incident, Khan posted on social media, saying “revenge was complete,” although the post was later removed.
In response to the murder, the Dausa-Agra highway was blocked on Monday, demanding protests with local people and family members. However, the police managed to convince the protesters to move to the service lane. The family demanded Rs 50 lakh as compensation, a government job for one of the families, suspension of Jamdoli police station and testing in a fast-track court. Officials have assured them that the demands will be sent to senior officials.

DCP Tejaswini Gautam confirmed that Khan and six others were arrested within hours.
Talking to The Indian Express, Rameshwar Singh said that the arrest was made within 14 hours of the incident. He said that the motive behind the murder seems to be steep by personal rivalry, although the exact reasons are still being investigated. Police forces of nearby stations were deployed to maintain the order after the murder.
