Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday wished out for the good health of outgoing vice -president Jagdeep Dhik and accepted his service for the country in various capabilities, a day later he resigned from the post.
PM Modi wrote on the social media platform X, “He has got many opportunities to serve our country in various capabilities as the vice -president of India.”
Dhankhar announced that he was leaving his post, citing health concerns for two years to go to the end of his five -year tenure.
His resignation was addressed to President Draupadi Murmu with immediate effect, and therefore it is unlikely that Dhankhar will preside over the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday as his former officer chairman.
Mr. Jagdeep Dhikar ji has received many opportunities to serve our country in various capabilities as the vice president of India. Happy health to him.
