Special Public Prosecutor Rajendra Jadhav said that the incident took place on May 6, 2024, when Deepak Pachauri, a resident of the railway colony in Sheopur, reported her mother, Ushadevi, after claiming that she left for the hospital and never returned. A case of a missing person was registered on 8 June. However, in Deepak’s statements, the discrepancies interrogated deep police, during which he allegedly confessed to killing his mother.

“These teachings,” the judge wrote, “Children permission to serve their parents till old age”.

The court sentenced Deepak Pachauri under Section 302 IPC, and sentenced to seven years rigorous imprisonment under Section 201 IPC with a fine of Rs 1,000 under each section. In the case of failure to pay the fine, he will undergo an additional six months rigorous imprisonment for each count.
