Mumbai Suburban Railway: Good news for Mumbaikars! Indian Railways (IR) has launched several projects worth more than Rs 16,200 crore to improve infrastructure in Mumbai suburban networks. Once completed, these railway projects will further increase the connectivity and easy operation of train services in the region.
In the written reply to the Lok Sabha, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the government has approved 12 infrastructure projects worth Rs 16,241 crore to further increase suburban railway services in the capital of Maharashtra. This response came after a query raised by Congress MP Sasikant Senthil.
