Jaipur police said on Friday that Yash Dayal, a cricketer and player from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), has been booked for allegedly raping a minor. This development comes after a week after Dayal is booked for rape after a Ghaziabad woman.
Police said the first Information Report (FIR) in the latest case was registered on July 23 under the Indian Joint Code, under the relevant sections for rape and the relevant sections for safety of children from the Sexual Offenses Act.
According to the Station House Officer (SHO) of the police station of the court, the complainant is a 19 -year -old aspiring cricketer who came in contact with Dayal two years ago. The woman told the police that Dayal had allegedly promised to help her in her cricket career.
“The first incident (of rape) was in 2023, when she was 17 years old. The most recent incident occurred in Jaipur in April 2025,” SHO said. The latest rape allegedly took place during the Indian Premier League, where Jaipur hosted a few matches.
earlier this month, A woman from Ghaziabad was booked on rape charges during rape days after accusing him of “emotional, mentally and physically”.

On June 21, the woman lodged a complaint through the Chief Minister’s online complaint portal, allegedly faced with misbehavior and deception. In her complaint to the police, she alleged that she was in a relationship with the cricketer for five years.
