Tribal youth were taken away, tied to pole, attacked in Kerala, 2 held. Bharat News

A tribal youth were allegedly stripped of an electric post to “disrupt traffic” in Attapadi in Palakkad district of Kerala. A video of the incident – which reportedly left the youth on the pole in a huge decline for more than an hour – resentment, inspired the police to arrest two truck drivers.

The incident was last Saturday evening when the youth, Siju V, 19, Palakkad was walking on a road in Chittoor tribal township under the limits of Agali police station. The arrested two arrested have been identified as Vishnu Das, 31, and Rezi Matthew, 21. Residents of Sholayyur in Atappadi, both worked as milk collection agents for a local dairy.

“I accidentally slipped on the road, when reached a mini-truck. Two people from the vehicle were showering abusive words and surprised me. He said that I was deliberately fallen in front of his vehicle. One of them tied me to an electric post, while the other person asked me to complain about his police.” He said in the hospital.
