The Congress targeted the Center on Tuesday, stating that the opposition members of the seven all-party delegation sent abroad were describing India as better than the ruling side under Operation Sindoor.
The government was “run, motivated and being run and operated by trolls”, Congress’s media and publicity head, Pawan Khera, urged the people how the ruling BJP and its supporters and its opposition “behave” on 22 April after the Pahalgam Terror Attack.
“Abroad, some people are going to tourist places … posting on social media. They are also meeting. There, the opposition and Congress MPs are advancing the ideas of India, and the ruling party MPs are posting some poisonous posts. I do not want to name that person … They are attacking Congress.
Five Congress leaders – Shashi Tharoor, Anand Sharma, Manish Tiwari, Amar Singh and Salman Khurshid – are part of the delegation sent to several countries to express India’s stand on terror from Pakistan.
Khera said that on the one hand, the Congress and the entire opposition stood in the national interest, while there has been no late-up in the “low-level politics” of the BJP since the Pahalgam attack.
He said, “Members of other (opposition) parties are advancing the ideas of the country and showing great strengths. They have been more effective than the government in protecting and protecting India’s interests,” he said.
Khera accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of behaving like “troll and film dialogue”, which he said, do not leave the post. Targeting the Modi government’s foreign policy, he said that as a result, Kuwait has lifted the visa ban on Pakistan. Due to the India-Pakistan hyphenation by the United States, the United Arab Emirates has allowed Pakistani citizens to be eligible for several five-year-entry tourist visas of five years, he said.
“The result of our foreign policy is that Nepal and Bhutan also did not stand with us. In this whole struggle, it is clear how China and Pakistan come together, but the government is not doing anything about it. Why is this government allowing it (India-Pakistan) hyphenation?” The Congress leader said.
