In view of the scenes after May 6, when Operation Sindoor was performed by the Indian Army against terrorist camps in Pakistan and the slain terrorists were given state honors there, terrorism could not be called “a proxy war, but a well thought out war strategy”, Prime Minister Narandra Modi said, India said, India will react to such a war strategy.
Modi, who started his two -day visit to Gujarat on Monday, addressed a public meeting at the Mahatma Temple in Gandhinagar on Tuesday, where he started the Gujarat government initiative to celebrate 2025 as the urban development year. During the occasion, the PM also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for developmental projects worth Rs 5,536 crore.
While visiting his home state for the first time after Operation Sindoor, the PM said, “Whenever there was an opportunity to war with Pakistan, India’s military power cut Pakistan on all three occasions. And Pakistan understood that it could not win in the fight against India. A hotel, which has come as a tourist – wherever they are being killed, they got an opportunity and we have tolerated it.”
Then he asked the audience whether such things should be tolerated now and whether to answer or not. The audience responded to heavy affirmation.
Modi said, “Till now he used to call it a proxy war.

“I say it cannot be called a proxy war because the funeral procession (of terrorists) who were performed after his assassination, were honored in Pakistan. Pakistan’s flags were put on their coffins. His army saluted them. It proves that a terrorist activity is not a proxy war, but your well -conscious struggle strategy.
Terrorism a fork since 1947
Calling terrorism a fork, which has been harming India since independence in 1947, Modi said that India has resolved to remove the thorns.

The PM said, “No matter how healthy the body is, if a fork hurts, the whole body remains in pain. We have decided that we will remove the thorns,” the PM said.
He said, “In 1947 … the country was cut into two pieces. And the same night, the first terrorist attack was launched on the land of Kashmir. A part of Mother India was provoked by Pakistan by the force of terrorists and in the name of Mujahidans. Back.
Vasudhiv Kutumbakam, Indus Treaty
The PM said that India’s character is marked by Vasudhiv Kutumbakam’s values and it wants happiness for neighbors.
“But when our capacity is repeatedly challenged, this country is also a land of brave,” Modi said.

The PM also spoke on the Indus Water Treaty, which India has kept after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam.

Modi said that Operation Sindoor, which was launched by Saina Bal (military power), will now be taken forward by Jan Bal (People’s Power) to develop India by 2047. In this context, Modi asked people to shake foreign goods and use only indigenous goods.
“If the country is to be saved, if the country is to be built, if the country has to progress then Operation Sindoor is not only the responsibility of the soldiers. Operation Sindor is the responsibility of 140 crore citizens,” he said.
Modi congratulated Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel for celebrating 2025 as urban development year and suggested to prepare a plan for the 75th Foundation Day of Gujarat in 2035. He spoke on the length of various urban development initiatives during his tenure as Gujarat CM.
Apart from Patel, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devavrat and Union Energy Minister Manohar Lal Khattar were also present during the occasion.
