Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargia has rejected Hornet’s nest. In a recent public event held in Indore, Vijayvargia said she is “not like girls who wear skimp”.
In this program, he compared to Vijayavargia, a senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and the Minister of Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs of Madhya Pradesh, Indian and Western culture, saying, “Here, we do not agree with a girl in a beautiful way with a girl wearing beautiful clothes.”
Continuing his comparison, he said: “There is a saying in Western countries that a woman who wears less clothes is considered very beautiful, such as a leader who speaks less is considered good. But I do not believe. I believe that a woman is a form of a goddess. She should wear good clothes. I don’t find clothes attractive.

Then he said: “Sometimes girls come to take selfies with me. I tell them -” Beta, next time come in the appropriate clothes, then we will take a photo. “
Vijayavargia’s team has refused to comment on the issue. Meanwhile, the Congress claimed that the comments “showed the BJP mentality”.
Congress spokesperson Abhinav Barolia told The Indian Express, “His mentality has come to the public.”

This is not the first time Vijayavargia has commented on women’s clothes. While participating in a Hanuman Jayati incident in Indore in 2023, he remarked: “I will not lie on Hanuman Jayanti … But girls wearing such dirty clothes these days … We call women a goddess, but they do not appear like this … they look like Shurpanak (a demon from Hindu mythology).
