Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said on Sunday that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was making an excuse for future defeat in Bihar and West Bengal assembly elections through his claims of irregularities in 2024 Maharashtra elections.
Chauhan said in Telangana as part of a ministry program The Indian Express: “He is already making an excuse to lose the elections in Bihar and West Bengal. He knows that there is no basis for his claims. No one takes him seriously.”
He said: “How did the Congress come to power in Telangana? The government was formed with the same EVM. How did the Congress come to power in Karnataka?”
