Mutual respect and sense of understanding will continue to guide India and Bangladesh in working for the welfare of the people, Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus wrote in a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Yunas’s letter came in response to PM Modi’s message, which greet the Bangladeshi people and the interim chief advisor. He posted both letters in an X post on Sunday.

In his letter, he said that Modi’s “thoughtful” message “reflects shared values ​​between the two countries”. The Chief Advisor also increased his wishes for the Prime Minister and the people of India.

“I am confident that mutual respect and sense of understanding will continue to guide our nations to work together for the good of our countries,” he said in a letter on 6 June.
