The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has directed strict possible action after the revelations of a sophisticated cyber fraud, exploiting Aadhaar update system during the Police Constable Recruitment Examination -2023.
In a statement, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said: “Such criminal acts, which cause injustice for qualified candidates, will not be tolerated in Madhya Pradesh.
The instructions come as the investigators have allegedly highlighted an interstate network spread in several states, which manipulate biometric data to help unqualified candidates pass the recruitment examination.
According to sources, the investigation has reportedly revealed that the organized gang has rented the login ID of several Aadhaar center agents. They also indicate the retina and biometric data of gang -cloned agents that act as a password for these IDs, with an agent to rent their ID of Rs 3,000 per month.
Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) Ansuman Singh said that during the investigation, it was also found that some Aadhaar card vendors uploaded requests for biometric changes in the Aadhaar system without proper verification.

“The accused candidates exploited the lapse to commit the crime,” he said.
The refined operation allegedly used a remote access application to control the system of candidates from Delhi, updating its Aadhaar with its biometric data of the gang. After the examinations ended, the ID was replaced back into their original state, allowing the impulses known as “solver” to the examination centers with converted identity.

The gang updated biometric data to the Aadhaar card of the candidates before the examination and later replaced it again.
Police said the first irregularities were revealed in November 2024 when the documents of five candidates in Morena expressed doubt during the physical proficiency test. The discovery inspired the Police Headquarters to issue instructions on 21 April 2025, which required a re -verification of biometric and base history for all selected candidates during the character verification and appointment stages.
The investigation has registered 21 cases against 22 candidates in several districts, with seven cases in Morena, six in Shivpuri, two in Shoppur, and one -A in Indore, Datia, Gwalior, Alirajpur, Rajgarh, and Shahdol.
