Air India plane crash update: Important questions about Air India Ahmedabad-Landon flight crash were given

The aircraft flew from runway 23 at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport from Runway 23 at 1:39 pm. Shortly after the takeoff, the crew released a meyade distress signal, but did not respond to follow -up communication. The flight was under command of captain Sumate Sabarwal, with 8,200 flight hours, the first officer Clive Kundar assisted with 1,100 hours.

Air India has activated a passenger helpline (1800 5691 444) and is assisting the families of the affected people. Tata Group President N Chandrasekaran expressed “deep grief” and promised total cooperation with emergency respondents and investigators. The airline has supported the affected families.

After the incident, Ahmedabad Airport has suspended all flight operations until next notice. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad issued a statement, “advised passengers to investigate with their respective airlines for the latest updates before going to the airport”.
