Arrest of two Kashmiri locals for Allegedly harassing terrorists On April 22, the initiative attack led the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to conclude that the three attackers were from Pakistan.

Investigators are also seeing whether Suleman was involved in the murder of three army personnel in Kulgam district of South Kashmir in August 2023, and in May last year in another attack in Ponch district of Jammu, in another attack in which one Air Force personnel were killed and four others were injured.
Before the NIA arrested both the locals to allegedly shelter the attackers, the agency questioned more than 200 people, including pony operators, shopkeepers and photographers. “There was a common friend with a pony operator of Parviz, and his wives shared the visiting details at their home,” said a source.

The spokesperson said, “According to the investigation, Parviz and Bashir deliberately harassed three armed terrorists in a seasonal dhok (hut) in Hill Park before the attack,” the two people had provided food, shelter and logical assistance to the terrorists. “Both have been arrested under Section 19 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
