Arunachal: Migrants for 'sexual harassment' on girls, curfew imposed in Rofu. Bharat News

Police said that the lower Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh was deployed in Rofu Town in the district as a crowd was allegedly encouraged by a mob after a migrant youth in the neighboring Assam.

The 19-year-old man was identified as Riyaz-ul Kurim from Bongaagaon, taken into police custody on Friday, as it was revealed that he had allegedly sexually assaulted several girls from a school.

The parents of the girls, who had filed a complaint with school officials, had measured the youth and threw them before saving the police and took him into custody. However, a mob entered the police station, pulled the youth out and beaten him. As he was rescued and rushed to the hospital, he followed him and thrown him again, eventually a leading to his death.
