As Vellice has continued the 'anti -Muslim' comment, the Congress says that at the behest of CM Vijayan, his 'divisive statements'. Bharat News

Sri Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam (SNDP) General Secretary Velluppalli Natson’s alleged disgusting speech against the Muslim community in Kerala has created a political storm with the opposition Congress, alleging that he was making “divisive statements” at the behest of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Natsan, who recently predicted the third consecutive term for Vijayan, said on Sunday that Kerala would become a Muslim majority state by 2040.

“Muslims have become an unbeatable force in the state. Whatever party is in power, Muslim clerics, including Kanthapuram AP Abbaikar Mussaliyar, are interfering in the government. The situation is such that before any reform is introduced, consensus should be obtained from Malappuram (Muslims with Muslims).

His comment at an SNDP ceremony on Saturday was a sequel to a similar comment when he said IUML, who was mainly working in North Kerala, was looking after seats in Central Kerala in the next assembly elections. “After winning the election, IUML wants to achieve the post of Chief Minister,” he claimed.

Coming out against Natson, opposition leader VD Satheson said that community leaders should be wanted by making such “divisive statements’.

“What SNDP Yogam General Secretary has said against Malappuram by CPI (M) leaders in Kerala and what the Chief Minister said through public relations agencies in Delhi. The leader said.

National General Secretary of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) PK Kunhalikutti accused the government of complexity in Natson’s “Brezen Communal Comments”.

He said, “This is not the first time that Natsons are making such communal statements. The government will have to react to it. We cannot agree with such communal statements,” he said.

In a statement, the CPI (M), without naming the State Secretariat, urged people to be vigilant against any step weakening Kerala’s secular culture “.

The CPI (M) State Secretariat said, “The party sees the rights of minorities as part of the protection of secularism. In only one secular society, all religious and non-religious people can function democratically,” CPI (M) said the State Secretariat.

Although IUML has been away from power for the last nine years, the results are constantly attacking a party, such as it controls the politics of the state. His words were clearly done in the assembly elections to be held next year for the purpose of building anti -Muslim planks.

Incidentally, traditionally the leader of the Pro-CPI (M) Agehwa community has carried forward the attack on IUML after CPI (M), which has failed to woo his efforts to woo IUML in the Left Democratic Front folds led by the party after his crushed defeat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

In April, Netnson said that the backward community in the Muslim-fetched Malappuram district could not “breathe independently”, which they called “a state with a particular country and a particular class of people”. Although his comments had started outrageous, Natson was supported by Vijayan, who said the words of the Ezhawa community leader were “incorrectly presented”.

Natsun was the patron of SNDP’s political wing, Bharat Dharma Janna Sena (BDJS), who is now an ally of BJP -led NDA in Kerala. Natson’s son Tushar is the president of Vellpalli BDJS. Although BDJS is with NDA, at the grassroots level the party has to depend on SNDP followers, many of them are traditionally with CPI (M).
