On a historic day when the Axiom-4 mission run by the group captain Shubanshu Shukla, the Axiom Space and India’s Skyrot Aerospace signed a memorandum (MOU) on cooperation in space exploration.
The AXIOM-4 Mission is a collaboration between the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
This is the first Indian company AXIOM Space.
MOU-Tejasul Bhatia, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Axiom Space, and Pawan Kumar Chandana, co-founder and CEO, signed by Skyrot Aerospace-will detect opportunities to improve the Earth’s class (Leo).
“Enabling more and more in space, it is for research institutes, startups or national agencies, a guide mantra in Skyrot. The partnership with Axiom space makes an opportunity to detect integrated launch and orbital solutions that will shape the future of humanity in space,” said Chandna.
“With our shared vision to change the access to space, we are ready to collaborate with Skyrot to serve India and globally growing space ecosystems,” said Bhatia, CEO of Axiom.
In a statement released on Wednesday, AXIOM stated that it was planning to use skyrot capabilities for research payload and orbital data center nodes among others.

In 2022, Skyrot became the first Indian private company to successfully launch a sub-arbitral class rocket (Vikram-S). Skyrot has developed a commercial rocket, Vikram, and currently plans to launch its orbital -class rocket, Vikram -1. It is a small satellite launch vehicle (SSLV)-up to 500 kg lift-off mass with a rocket category.
AXIOM has so far, launched three commercial space missions and is one of the major partners with NASA when expanding space exploration.
